From the very first moment Daisy entered our lives, I just had this feeling that everything was going to be ok… I knew from the very first moment of speaking with her that she was going to be able to help our daughter find her confidence and battle the new fears that were taking over her world.
Daisy is so warm, compassionate, professional and supportive… She made the whole journey so smooth and so easy for us all, as a family.
My daughter formed a bond of trust with Daisy and ‘Cherry Blossom’ became a place where she felt safe and heard.
Play Therapy has helped my daughter with her anxiety and fears. After several sessions we noticed huge positive changes. She was able to express herself clearly, manage her emotions and talk through her fears.
As a Parent it can feel so daunting and scary knowing that you cannot help your child with their anxieties or fears. Then on top of that you have the huge task of finding someone who your child warms to…
We will be forever grateful for the support and professionalism that Daisy has shown all of us as a family.
Ending my testimony - with words from my daughter -
‘Daisy is the kindest and most caring person I’ve ever met’…
Thank you Daisy. You have the magic x
I first researched play therapy when my daughter started to experience anxiety and separation anxiety. My daughter had been a happy bubbly child but things were becoming more difficult for her. When I met Daisy I felt a huge sense of relief, I knew she could help my daughter and more importantly I knew she could help my daughter help herself.
Daisy is compassionate, empathetic, professional and warm. She puts the needs of the children she works with first. My daughter bounced into the sessions with Daisy and skipped out full of enjoyment and positivity.
Play therapy has helped my daughter develop skills and tools to help her cope and also helped her realise she doesn’t need to worry about so many things. Daisy encouraged my daughter to become her happy self again.
I would highly recommend Daisy to any parent who feels their child might benefit from play therapy. I would have no hesitation to work with Daisy again should the need arise. We will miss our Daisy Wednesdays !
My son visited Daisy for 22 weeks. Daisy welcomed him in and always made sure he felt comfortable.
Soon he began to explore the space and open up to Daisy. Over the course of this time both family and teachers saw a difference in his behaviour for the good. He has been able to communicate better with his teacher when he finds a situation stressful or difficult, and he engages better in school. He is more confident and interacts better in social situations.
Daisy, always calm, worked together with my son over the weeks, building a strong bond and building his confidence. He enjoyed his sessions with Daisy and looked forward to them each week. We have only positive things to say about the time he spent in Cherry Blossom Play Therapy. I have recommended , and will continue to recommend, Cherry Blossom Play Therapy to other parents who have similar concerns as we did.
Daisy is a skilled and enthusiastic Play Therapist, who brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She worked with over 12 clients both in 1-1 and group, and took great care to identify the strengths and challenges of each of her clients and creatively adapted her therapeutic skills to meet their individual needs.
Daisy is a committed, and hardworking Play Therapist and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to schools, or families who are looking for play therapy for their children.
My son is 7 and attended 12 sessions of play therapy with Daisy. From the get go he felt completely comfortable with her and looked forward to each session.
I feel he has benefitted in so many ways, he has found his voice at home and in school. In general, is much happier in himself.
As for Daisy her professionalism is exceptional, I couldn't recommend her service enough.
